Senior management team
Anthony co-founded ÐÓ°ÉPro in 1997, having previously held senior positions in tour operating and travel insurance. He’s immensely proud of how his hard-working, loyal team has helped the company develop since then.
A major foodie, Anthony is always on the look-out for the next big restaurant, can’t do without his daily Nespresso and loves anything to do with travel, ’60s music and classic cars.
Maria has over 20 years’ experience in managing and creating award-winning content across all media. Having built and nurtured a talented team, she’d like to think of herself as an inspirational leader.
She also happens to be a black belt in Taekwondo, in case they don’t agree.
APL’s Managing Director has been with the company for 16 years.Ìý Matthew started APL life developing travel trade magazines.
A peanut butter connoisseur and father of three, he is happiest climbing a mountain or swinging a golf club.
With over 20 years’ publishing experience, Matt specialises in creating campaigns with tourist offices to help foster reader engagement with destinations. Before joining APL in 2004, Matt worked in the financial sector but switched to travel to indulge his passion for exploring the globe.
When not battling the London traffic in his bicycle clips or walking his Labrador, he’s partial to a spot of wild swimming, hiking and camping — whatever the weather.
OPEraTIONS
Seamus joined APL in 2010 as editorial assistant. A stickler for detail, he manages the day-to-day running of the company’s websites and apps, and has also helped deliver projects like the National Geographic Traveller Photography Competition and Travel Media Awards.
Made in Switzerland and exported to London via Ireland.
SALES
Danny joined ÐÓ°ÉPro in 2001, rising from media sales executive to head of the consumer division. As well as hosting Best of British Sports Review of the Year events, since 2013 he’s managed sales for The Collection by National Geographic Traveller.
A devoted father of three, Danny can often be found at wildlife parks or mulling over tactics for the office five-a-side team.
An ÐÓ°ÉPro staff member for more than 15 years, Cynthia manages projects at the company.
She’s always on the lookout for the next travel adventure and is passionate about new restaurants, music and dancing.
Creative Team
Pat has been editor of National Geographic Traveller (UK) since 2010 and a travel writer and editor for over 20 years. He’s been shortlisted seven times for Editor of the Year, Travel at the British Society of Magazine Editors (BSME) Awards and has seen his publication named Best Consumer Travel Magazine at the British Travel Awards four times.
Pat’s a long-suffering Nottingham Forest fan with an unfeasibly large record collection and he hates polystyrene.
Dan grew up in Zimbabwe, surrounded by bush veld, granite koppies and sunshine. From an early age he took an avid interest in drawing and painting, so it was a natural progression to seek out a career in print and publishing. He’s currently a Production Manager at ÐÓ°ÉPro, where he’s worked since 2012.
Dan's best quality is being calm in the eye of a storm.
